A Wednesday is about a chain of events which happen on a wednesday that affects the enforcers of law. The Mumbai Commissioner of Police, Prakash Rathod gets an anonymous call demanding the release of militants in exchange for information on various bombs planted across the city.
One of the best ever made movies in bollywood. Naseerudin Shah & Anupam Kher stamp their class right through out the movie. Story, Screenplay and all other things were quite superb. Well supported by all support actors & technicians. No usual bollywood like masala. A clean, neat & a class movie
Wednesday is an awesome thriller with Anupam Kher and Nasseruddin Shah playing the lead roles. Watch it for: 1) Nasseruddin Shah's acting especiacially towards the end. 2) A critique of the media presented in a humorous manner. 3) The movie is out of the theatres, but I saw the advertisment of the VCD/DVD on Moser Bear. Since it is on Moser Bear, I think it would cost only around Rs 50, which is more than worth your money. You would enjoy it more if you don't know its story, as it is basically a thriller.
