Raj, a testimonial for all but himself. His kismat has changed drastically from college's lucky days and now. Whatever he touches is turned to ashes and dust. On the other hand is Priya, a girl with a Midas touch. Desperate to fight this cussed kismat that is hell bent on playing such mean tricks on him, Raj meets a quirky oracle, Hasina Bano Jaan (Juhi Chawla). She tells him that soon his stars will change and get him everything he ever dreamt off. But the catch is, to reverse his luck, he will have to figure out his lucky charm. How does he meet Vidya Balan and understand that she is his lucky charm forms the rest of the movie.
A movie with real sense. It shows that evn though if a person is brilliant n luck doesnt support thn every thing is in vain..but a person shud do his work or duty ,as he/she doesnt knw tht whn gud luck might b on there door .
A affair of connection, a conflict between luck and bad luck, good mixture for a movie, gets the person interested in it, a fight between lucks, aperson who believes in luck and astrology sort of things this is a perfect movie for them.
Kismat Konnection has an average story - strangely set in Canada, when it would have made much sense in India. Raj Malhotra (Shahid Kapoor) plays the lead role, and plays the role of an unlucky but brilliant student quite well. Vidya Balan is too old and and unfit pair for Shahid in this film - her dressing sense is very poor too. The end is somewhat surprising, and is perhaps the only real twist in the story - everything else is so predictable. Overall, it is worth watching once - especially for a few scenes of comedy and Shahid's fabulous dances.
